Ronn, Dr. Hallet, said he knows how we write and to overlook these gremlins that come with Turnitin. Some of the tfew word combinations that were highlighted though were my own way of writing, which happens to be how someone else wrote too. I am really not worried about it. In fact, I feel great! I know what effort I put into this, and the hours daily up at 5 am and closing down shop at 11 pm most nights. In the end, this effort is a springboard to my future chapter two in my dissertation, and I can build on this work.
A funny thing happened, as soon as my mind accepted I was done adding research to my paper, my body decided to slump, and I came down with a slight cold. I took off a day of work to nurture myself and rest, and am glad I did, for I pretty much recovered and am back at it, even sneaking in a couple of last minute research that I had not been able to add because of time that made my case or lit review solid to stand upon. What was supposed to be 10-15 pages ended up 23 and including references 30. Though I went way over, I had to, I told Dr. Skrla I cannot turn in a crappy little paper, and she said with a smile, "We appreciate that." With Ronn, Dr. Hallet's, help, his editing will help me understand better how to do APA style and I am looking forward to that help.
